Watch the step-by-step instructions to see how to request the perfect listing for your Product from our Team.

To create a new Listing order, either:

  • Use the quick access menu from the top of any page in the EcoSystem;

  • From the Listing Creator summary page, click on Create in the top right of the page.

The cost per listing for one Marketplace is shown on the right side.

Select the Product SKU from the dropdown box.

Note

Please note that only live products will be eligible for the Listing Creator.

Then select the Marketplace that the listing is for.

If you already have a Listing for that Marketplace, you will receive a message advising that your Listing will be overwritten.

If you check the box, please ensure that you are overwriting an old Listing that you no longer want to use. Also, ensure that you haven’t already created an order for the same Product to avoid duplications.

You need to check the box in order to complete your order otherwise you will receive an error message and won’t be able to continue until you check the box or select a different Marketplace that you don’t currently have a listing for.

Complete all the details where possible - some fields are mandatory (marked with a *) and require completion before you can submit your order for payment.

Please see the relevant numbered comments that tie in with the numbers on the image below.

  1. Add in the main product competitor ASIN and the main competitor product details. You can drag the bottom right corner of the box to make it bigger if you require more space.

  2. Add in the size from the dropdown list, storage volume or capacity and units of measure from the dropdown box.

  3. Select the item shape that best resembles your product or choose other if it doesn’t fit into any of these categories.

  4. Select the material that the product is made of. This is a dropdown list and you can add more than one material.

  5. Choose the assembly type from the dropdown list - either Pre-assembled, Minor Assembly or Self Assembled.

  6. Add in the number of pieces if the product is sold in a pack.

  7. Add in the Certification for your Product - the options are: FDA Approved, BPA free, Waterproof or Heat Resistant. You can only choose one of these so if more than 1 apply, go with the most important one. You can add in extra details in the Product Key Attributes if needed.

  8. Add in the Product Key Attributes - describe how your Product is different from your competitors, what changes you have made to it compared to your main product competitor and why your Product is better. You can drag the bottom right corner of the box to make it bigger if you require more space.

  9. Add in the colour of the product - this doesn’t have to be the exact colour coding, just the general colour of the product.

  10. Add in details of whether your product is compatible with anything. For example, if it was a vacuum cleaner belt replacement, list the model of vacuum cleaner that it would be compatible with.

  11. If the main competitor product has a bonus, add the ASIN of the bonus product and the details. You can drag the bottom right corner of the box to make it bigger if you require more space.

  12. Add in the targeting keywords which is the main generic search term for the product. Also, if there are any specific search terms, add these in too.

And lastly, upload any information or photos you want to include which could be for your product or your competitor’s - perhaps to show a feature not easily seen from the product image. You can upload more than one - just click on Add File. If you want to delete a previously added image, click on the bin icon to remove it.

Once you have completed all the relevant fields, you can either:

  1. Return to List without saving;

  2. Save the product without paying, which will take you back to the orders page. You can go back into the order at any time to continue to the payment page or delete;

  3. Or you can click on Submit.

If you clicked on Submit, this will take you to the view order page prior to payment. Here, you will be able to view the details you have input and the cost for your order.

If you see something that needs amending, you will need to click on Edit to make a change. Otherwise you can submit for payment.

If you have a coupon for Listing Creator, you can select it from the drop down list.

Then check the box confirming the information is correct - you won’t be able to proceed until you do.

And click on submit for payment.  Once submitted, you won’t be able to edit the information.

If you have a 100% voucher, when you click on Submit for payment, your order will be successfully added and you will return to the Listing Orders page.

If you have a part payment voucher e.g. 50% off or are paying in full, you will arrive at the payments page.

Once you have made a payment, you will return to the Listing Orders page and you will receive a confirmation notice. Your order will appear at the top of the list with a ‘Submitted’ status.

You can see how your order is progressing by hovering over each line to check the status of it.

For a guide on all the different statuses and notifications that you may receive, please read the guide on Navigating around the Listing Creator.

Completed Orders

Once the Admin Team have created your order, you will receive a notification advising that it is ready.

The Listing will be added to your order and you can see it either by clicking on the View button from the main orders page or you can click on the SKU and this will take you to the Product common data.

Then click on Listings and you will see the Listing information for the Marketplace you requested.

You will be able to copy and paste to other Marketplaces where your Product is being sold.

The Listing Description will also have html coding included. Just click on Copy to Clipboard and then paste into Amazon.

Please remember:

Once you have received your Listing, you are able to copy this information to other marketplaces, however, please be aware that terminology and spellings may be different and could affect the search results.

For example, if you are selling a car boot organiser, this is the correct terminology for the UK but in the US it is referred to as a trunk and organiser is spelt with a Z, not an S.

There are various other spelling differences such as colour and color, utilise and utilize.

Also dimension measurements may differ depending on the country as not all countries are metric, so dimensions may need to show inches and gallons instead of cm or litres for example.
