What is Pre-buy CBM?

When shipping your products from China to our SuperHero Freight warehouses, you have the option to use our SuperHero Freight Solution.

In order to get your products shipped, we offer a “Pre-buy” option where you can purchase the space for your products on the SuperHero Freight consolidated container ahead of time.

Our Pre-buy service allows members of SuperHero Freight to buy container space in advance of shipments. Normally freight forwarders only permit you to commit to the amount of cubic meters that you have on an individual order. This severely limits your scalability and your economies of scale when shipping smaller orders and by smaller, we mean anything less than a container load (LTL).

The benefit of purchasing Pre-buy CBM is the more you purchase, the cheaper the cost to you to ship your products.

Benefits of using SuperHero Freight Pre-buy CBM

• The concept of Pre-buying CBM is unique to SuperHero Freight;

• Purchasing Pre-buy CBM makes it more cost effective for you to ship your goods from China to the respective SHF warehouses. The rates that you can take advantage of are considerably lower than you will find elsewhere in the marketplace;

• Gain economies of scales by combining current and future order space;

• Removes the fluctuations of price for shipping freight and no need to wonder what the price will be in the future;

• Accurately calculate your profits in advance;

• Smaller orders or initial trial orders can now be profitable;

• The more Pre-buy CBM that you purchase, the more cost effective the Pre-buy will be over a period of time because the more you Pre-buy, the less the cost is per cubic meter;

• Pre-buy CBM has no expiry date as long as you have a valid and active SHF membership.

Process and Procedures

• You can’t ship any goods via SHF consolidated shipments unless you have Pre-buy CBM;

• You can’t ship any good if you do not have an adequate balance of Pre-buy CBM;

• It is recommended to Pre-buy at least twice the amount of your original SRN CBM;

• Purchase Pre-buy CBM in USD or GBP regardless of which warehouse you send your goods to;

• You do not need to Pre-buy CBM for US shipments and Pre-buy CBM for UK shipments. Once you have purchased Pre-buy CBM, you can use this balance to ship goods to our SHF warehouses;

• Your Pre-buy CBM does not have an expiry date and is always available. However you must have a current paid membership to make use of it;

• The more you buy, the more you save and you can use the Pre-buy CBM for as long as you wish;

• You can then always top up your Pre-buy CBM balance.
