This section describes the prerequisites for using the Superhero Freight application. The data within the Superhero Eco-System is linked in such a manner that data is entered in once, and the data is then reusable in all the applications within the Superhero Eco-System. There are a few steps you need to complete before shipping from China.

When negotiating with your supplier, ensure these steps are carried out:

So with all of that said, let’s get down to business. For your future shipment to qualify for shipping in a CC (Consolidated Container), there are a number of variables that must be met.

We cannot load goods that do not have the above documentation uploaded, as these are required for export/import.

Pre-buying Space

As we have already mentioned, we have the ability to “Pre-sell” space, or in other words you can “Pre-buy” space. This allows for a great reduction in pricing per cube and also allows you to future proof shipments. In order to take advantage of Pre-buying, part of this Pre-buy must be a future shipment i.e. you cannot Pre-buy 10 CBM and then immediately ship 10 CBM. Also your Pre-buy must cover at least 2 shipments.

The Pre-buy rates are excellent as you can see, and even for someone who may not be shipping “very much” we have the 5 CBM option which is only $900.

To Pre-buy freight, go to the Freight tab on the left side navigation and select CBM. You will be able to purchase Pre-buy credits from here.

Creation Fees (formerly known as Terminal Fees)

This has now changed and is called a Creation Fee. The details are covered off in the Creation Fee section.

You will have the following costs on a shipment:

The sea freight portion will be pre-paid and upon arrival you will then have an invoice created for the Creation Fee plus any applicable Duties and Taxes/VAT.

Consignee, Buyer, Importer, Delivery addresses are all made out as follows:

In order to get FOB costs, you may need to give your supplier the details of the warehouse that you want the goods delivered to.

Here is the link to the most current Addresses & Contacts document: Addresses & Contacts

Direct Shipments

Watch the video in the SuperHero University first.

We can accept direct shipments to our warehouse. Direct shipments are shipments that you organise yourself and do not make use of our consolidation service. You can send full containers (FCL), part containers (LCL), Air and Air express shipments to our warehouses. The latest charges for Direct Shipments can be found on the SHF Pricing Guide.

An example of how direct shipments are calculated is as follows:

e.g. US warehouse - $95 plus $1 per carton in your order

So, for example, if you send 20 cartons to the US, you will be billed $115 i.e. $95 plus 20 times $1

N.B. The cost quoted above is just an example as costs are liable to change without notice.
