When to Ship to avoid Chinese New Year

Be sure to plan for Q4 and Chinese New Year by shipping 4 months worth of stock 4 times per year.
It looks like this:

Order in February (plan for sales from May - Aug) - production begins just after Chinese New Year and ships end of March, avoiding the pre-CNY order/shipping rush and the just after CNY order/shipping rush;
products estimated arrival in May

Order in May (plan for sales from Aug - Nov) - production ends and ships in June;
products estimated arrival in August

Order in August (plan for sales from Nov - Feb) - production ends and ships in September;
products estimated arrival in November

Order in November (plan for sales from Feb - May) - production ends and ships in December;
products estimated arrival in February

NOTE: this schedule is based on a 30 day production cycle, be sure to adjust your calendar if your production time is shorter or longer than 30 days
