Import FAQ

For general types of wood most often all that is needed is a Lacey Act form. However, some woods are protected and it is your job to make sure you don’t import anything that is illegal. Here are a few sites that detail importing wood.

For general soil imports there is a permit required. For dried materials such as peat there are exceptions:
