Before You Start

All photography orders take place in the UK. Therefore, if you don’t have stock at the UK warehouse, you will need to arrange delivery of the primary product and the bonus product to the UK warehouse address.

If your SKU is already in stock at the UK or US warehouse, you will need to complete a Pull Request form to remove stock from the warehouse. Please note that this does not happen automatically and can only be requested when you have created and paid for your photography order as you will need to provide the Photography Order Number on the Pull Request form.

Any SKU’s removed from stock using the Pull Request form cannot be returned to stock again.

Sending Props from Amazon to the Photographer

Please complete the Prop Submission Form if you are sending props from Amazon to the Photographer. It is important that you send the prop to the same destination as the primary product that is being photographed. The addresses are on the form.

N.B. You can only send props from Amazon to the US warehouse if your product is already in stock at the US warehouse.

Access Product Photography application

To purchase your Product Photography or use a Product Photography coupon, access the Product Photography application from the left navigation under Solutions, Listing and Photography sits under Product Media.

If you are opening the Product Photography for the first time, your order list will be empty.

Otherwise you will see a list of the current Photography requests you have created.

The information displayed is:

• SKU - the SKU of the Product you have requested photography for.

• Description - description of your Product.

• Package - which of the 3 different photography package you have requested. Currently there is only the Advanced Package available.

• Status - the status of your photography order. These are:

  • Processing - your photography request has been received. Please allow approx. 3 weeks for your order to be processed.

  • Shoot - shows the date that the photography has been booked for.

  • Studio - shows the photography is in progress.

  • View Product - your photography is available for viewing and the main image will be shown as a thumbnail view.

Create Product Photography Request

Either use the easy access menu from any page on the EcoSystem or click on Create in the top right corner of the summary page to start the Product Photography request process.

Choose the SKU you will be sending to the Photography Team from the dropdown list. Then select Next to proceed.

You can only choose 1 product per photography order.

The following basic SKU information is required by the Photography Team.

1. The Product description is automatically populated.

2. Bonus Item - if there is a bonus item with your Product, type in what it is. This is a free form field.

3. Pack Size - enter in the number of photographs e.g. 1 x primary Product and 1 x bonus item. This is a free form field.

4. Props - these are items that you send with your Product that you want photographing with it. This may be to show for example, the function of the Product. This is a drop down box and your choices are:

   1. No - no props were sent;

   2. In pack - the prop was included in the carton with the Product;

   3. Via Amazon - this is being sent by Amazon to the Photographer. Please see the information in the blue box below for further instructions.

5. Package Selection - there is currently only 1 package selection - the Advanced Package. The other 2 options have been greyed out for now. The cost of the Advanced Package is $249:

• Advanced - included are 8 images which you can choose or the Photographer can help you, a hand model is available if required and optional reshoot of 2 x images.

You can see the details by clicking on the Package details link. This will load a pdf in a new tab.

Click on Select Package. There is currently only 1 option - the Advanced Package.

This will show the selection you have made with some basic information about that selection. The Advanced Package allows you to add any image requests and also, if you have seen something online that you liked, you can upload this image here so that the Photographer can see what you are after and try to create something similar.

When you click on SKU Overview, this will take you back to the Product description page.

You can make any necessary amendments and then select Next to continue.

You will then see an Order Overview and the cost. Check the details and then click on Confirm.

This will then take you to the Posting & Packaging instructions page, which gives full details regarding Product labelling.

If you have a Coupon, you can apply this before moving to the payment page, otherwise, just click on Checkout.

This will then take you to the payment page to finalise the order.

You will receive a confirmation message. Just click on Return to List to go to your list of Photography orders.

Timescales

Photography usually takes around 3 weeks once your order has been placed. This is also dependant on when your Products are received by the Photographer. Remember to complete a Pull Request form if your product is in the UK or US warehouse.

When the Products arrive, an email is sent advising that they have been received and the photoshoot date.

Once the photoshoot has taken place, you will receive an email with a link to all the images of your Product.
