Consolidation Fee
The current state of shipping has caused a change in the cost of shipping.
With the very unpredictable fluctuations of cost during the shipping process (new port fees, shipping rate changes per ship, and other impacts), a congestion fee will be implemented.
The Consolidation Fee is a 2% fee on every sea shipment.
EnZone has adopted a 2% Consolidation fee on every sea shipment. This will be calculated on your CI value and added to your duties invoice as a separate line item.
This charge allows for the CBM rates to stay low and help manage the ever-changing costs of shipments currently. Even better is this has a minor impact on your POI (2%) and is not a fixed fee across the board.
The impact will be that your POI could go from 100% down to 98%, which doesn't materially change the profitability of the product.
