Consolidated Shipments

Consolidated Shipments

Put simply, consolidated shipping allows you to ship your goods in a shared container by sea, thus reducing the cost of shipping. This container is shared with other Freight members.

For each consolidated shipment, you will have the following costs:

  • Creation Fee (previously the Terminal Fee) - the Creation Fee will be invoiced upon the creation of a new shipping order in the Ecosystem.

  • Sea Freight (CBM) - when you create an SRN, 80% of the CBM needed will be deducted from your pre-paid CBM balance and the remaining 20% will need to be paid for. This calculation is shown when you create a new SRN in the EcoSystem freight section.

  • Duties & Taxes/VAT (if applicable) - finally you will have an invoice created for any applicable Duties and Taxes/VAT.

  • Consolidation Fee - Consolidation fee is a 2% fee invoiced upon arrival of the shipment to covering shipping costs from major congestion at the ports
