Create Logo Order

Watch the video to see how to create a Logo order, navigate around the Logo Creator Application and what the different statuses mean.

This will take you to the order summary page and show you any previously created orders. If this is your first order, this page will be blank.

Then click on the Create button.

Alternatively, you can click on the easy access menu at the top of most pages in the EcoSystem. Click on Logo Creator and then create.

You will need to select the Brand Name that you want to create the Logo for. If this doesn’t appear on the drop down list, you need to create this in the Brand common data.

Then confirm whether you have Brand Clearance for your Brand name.

If you select No, you will be able to click on Apply for Brand Clearance.

This will take you to the Brand Clearance page where you can create a new order to check your Brand availability.

If you select Yes, you are confirming that you have had your Brand cleared by our Legal Team or via another source and you can continue with the application.

Add in the Brand Tag Line if you have one and want it including in the Logo. This isn’t a mandatory field and can be left blank.

Then choose your logo colours. You will be able to add a maximum of 3 colours but can just add 1 colour or no colour if you want the Design Team to choose a colour for you.

Click on the box to open up the colour picker.

Choose an area of color from the scale to the right of the main box. Then click in the main box to choose the exact color.

This will show the CMYK color codes to the right side and also populate the Logo Colors box.

When you’ve chosen a color, click on Add Color.

This will show up as a colour circle. If you want to delete, you can just click on the cross above the circle.

Repeat the process until you have the colours you want. You can choose a maximum of 3 colors.

Then choose the logo font you want. Again, you can leave this blank if you want the Design Team to choose for you or you can click on the link under the box which will take you to the Adobe webpage to give you some ideas.

If you have seen a logo that you like and want something similar, you can put the website under the References box to show the Design Team the sort of thing you were thinking of.

If you have an example of a logo, you can upload the file. Click on Please select file. You can upload a maximum of 3 logo files. Just click on Add File.

If you add a file and decide you don’t want to use it, just click on the red bin icon to remove.

If you have an existing brand reference that you want to load, click on Please select file. You can only add one brand reference.

If you need a logo that is specific to your brand, you can add in more information about your business and what it does. This is not a mandatory field.

If you have a specific target audience and industry, you can add in more details. This is not a mandatory field.

If there is any other information that you wish to add, you can use the last box for this. This is not a mandatory field.

Then either click on:

  1. Return to List - this will take you to the order summary page without saving the details.

  2. Save the product without paying, which will take you back to the orders page. You can go back into the order at any time to continue to the payment page or delete.

  3. Submit - this saves the details and takes you to the payment page.

If you clicked on Submit, this will take you to the view order page prior to payment. Here, you will be able to view the details you have input and the cost for your order.

If you see something that needs amending, you will need to click on Edit to make a change. Otherwise you can submit for payment.

If you have a coupon for Logo Creator, you can select it from the drop down list.

Then check the box confirming the information is correct - you won’t be able to proceed until you do.

Click on submit for payment.  Once submitted, you won’t be able to edit the information.

If you have a 100% voucher, when you click on Submit for payment, your order will be successfully added and you will return to the order summary page.

If you have a part payment voucher e.g. 50% off or are paying in full, you will arrive at the payments page.

Once you have made a payment, you will return to the order summary page and you will receive a confirmation notice. Your order will appear at the top of the list with a ‘Submitted’ status.

You can see how your order is progressing by hovering over each line to check the status of it.

For a guide on all the different statuses and notifications that you may receive, please read the guide on Navigating around the Logo Creator.

When the Design Team start to work on your order, the status will change to Processing and you will receive a notification.

When the Design Team have created the logo, they will send a selection over to you to choose from.

Either click on the blue tick in the circle or you can click on the view icon and then Choose Logo.

You will need to select the logo by ticking underneath the one you want to choose.

Once you have ticked one of the boxes, you will need to choose from 2 options:

  • I’m happy with the selected logo above

  • I’m not happy with the selected logo, please see my amendments below for consideration.

If you are happy with the logo as it is, just click on the relevant icon and then Save.

If you choose that you are not happy, an additional box will appear for you to add your comments to. Please ensure that your feedback is clear as you are only allowed one round of changes.

You will only be allowed one round of changes. The next logo you receive will be the final one.

Once you click on Save, the order status will change to Processing. The Design Team will then update your order to include any changes you requested (if there were any) along with the original logo choices in case you have changed your mind.

You will receive a notification that your order has been updated.

Click on the tick under the Logo File column to go into the order again and choose the final logo. There is no option to say if you are happy with the logo once you have selected it.

Then save to confirm your order.

The status will change to Processing again.

The Design Team will then upload the final Logos and add them to your order.

The status of your order will change to Completed and you will be able to access the logo files using the download icon. This will download a zip file with the logo in different formats for you to use.

Alternatively, you can click on the View icon and then click on Download Logo Files from the View page.
